Methodology
A working document on how the Anime Sex page is researched, sourced and kept current. Every material claim on it traces back to one of the source categories below. Who writes it is on the about us page.
Source hierarchy
Sources do not carry the same weight. Ranked from heaviest to lightest:
- Primary legal texts and regulators. Statutes and official letters, read in the original or an official translation: Japan's Penal Code, UK legislation on legislation.gov.uk, and Ofcom correspondence on the Online Safety Act. Every legal claim on the main page links to one of these or to a wire report that names its official source.
- Hands-on chat sessions. Free and paid tiers of AI anime sex chat services, used to check how a scene starts, how intensity commands work, how long a character holds her archetype and how images match a request.
- Platform documents. Terms of Service, privacy policies, pricing pages and official announcements. These decide what a service calls uncensored, how long it keeps chats and whether it trains on them.
- Wire and trade reporting. Agency reports and trade press, used for events such as arrests or store policy changes, and cross-checked against the original announcement where one exists.
- Community sources. Forums and subreddits about AI roleplay and anime image models. Used to spot patterns worth checking, never as the only source for a claim.
What gets checked in a live chat
Anything that changes with the product is checked in a session before publication: how a character keeps her archetype over a long chat, whether "slower" and "harder" change the scene, how far a face drifts between images with and without a reference image, how memory behaves inside a chat and across sessions, and what a free tier allows before it asks for money.
Legal claims
Legal statements are written as facts about a specific law or regulator letter, with the jurisdiction named, and linked inline. The site does not give legal advice for a reader's situation. Where a claim rests on a news report rather than a statute, the page says it was reported, not proven. The rules for using this site are in the terms of service, and what data it keeps is in the privacy policy.
Prices and plans
Plans in this category change often. The main page describes how services charge (free tier, subscription, tokens) rather than quoting one service's price, because a single figure goes stale within months. Any figure that does appear carries the month it was checked.
Freshness and revision cadence
The main page is re-checked at least every 90 days. Out-of-cycle updates trigger on a change in law, a new regulator decision, a store or payment-processor policy change, or a correction from a reader. When a page changes, its schema dateModified moves; datePublished stays fixed so the first publication date survives.
Corrections process
A verified correction triggers an edit to the page, an entry in the correction log on the editorial policy page and a dateModified update. Turnaround target: seven working days.
What does not get done here
- No sponsored coverage. No platform has paid for placement or wording.
- No content involving minors or characters drawn to look underage, in text or images. Access rules are on the age verification page.
- No real people. Characters and images on the site are fictional adults, as the 2257 statement sets out.
- No guessed facts. A claim that cannot be checked is left out or marked as unverified.
